About the Role
We are currently looking for a Senior Category Manager / Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy across key categories and contribute to the overall performance and optimization of the purchasing function. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will manage the full procurement lifecycle, from strategy definition to supplier performance management, while working closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy
- Define and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories.
- Identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking.
Sourcing & Negotiation
- Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and supplier consultations.
- Negotiate commercial, contractual, and operational terms.
- Ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
Supplier Management
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers.
- Build long-term partnerships with key vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
Procurement Performance
- Implement procurement KPIs and performance tracking.
- Monitor cost savings and procurement contribution to business objectives.
- Provide regular reporting to procurement leadership.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Operations, etc.).
- Support business teams in defining their needs and preparing specifications.
Profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in strategic procurement or category management.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and sourcing processes.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
