IT Project Manager (Capital Markets) (M/F)

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support strategic initiatives within Capital Markets environments. The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects related to trading platforms, risk systems, and front‑to‑back processes within financial markets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects in Capital Markets environments.
Define project scope, roadmap, milestones, and delivery plans.
Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT delivery.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Middle Office, and IT teams.
Facilitate steering committees and provide regular project reporting.
Ensure clear communication with senior stakeholders and project sponsors.

Business & Functional Analysis

Gather and analyze business requirements.
Produce functional specifications and documentation.
Support solution design in collaboration with architecture and development teams.

Testing & Release Management

Coordinate testing phases including UAT and system integration tests.
Ensure high quality standards for all project deliverables.
Manage production releases and deployment planning.

Risk & Quality Management

Identify project risks and define mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project performance and ensure continuous improvement.

Profile

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager in financial services.
Strong experience within Capital Markets environments.
Proven experience delivering complex IT projects involving trading, risk, or market data systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
